CAI Radiator Valve Collection
Description
The CAI radiator valve collection is designed for reliability and durability, making it suitable for both domestic and building services applications. These valves feature an attractive design that meets the aesthetic demands of modern commercial properties and home interiors. They are available with chrome-plated bodies, white thermostatic controls, and lockshield covers that blend seamlessly with most interior designs.
For those preferring a contemporary look, options with chrome-finished thermostatic controls and lockshield covers are also available. The valve body’s inlet connection can be supplied as either compression or push-fit, making it compatible with copper tubing. Each valve includes a manual cap for stem protection and manual isolation. The thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs) are approved to EN215. For valves with compression connections, approvals comply with BS EN1254-2, while threaded connections comply with ISO228.
Applications
Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRVs) regulate flow to radiators in central heating systems and can also be used with remote sensors to control flow to heated ceilings and fancoils. The thermostatic control contains a liquid-filled element that automatically adjusts the valve opening to maintain the room’s ambient temperature at the desired level, ensuring stable room conditions and significant energy savings.
Additional Features
- ‘0’ setting: Stops flow (manual cap required for complete isolation).
- Frost protection setting: Prevents radiators and pipes from freezing, avoiding flood damage to flooring and structural elements.
