Dry Floor Heating Panel With Aluminium Foil 1200x600x20mm for 16mm Pipe
The UFH Insulation Board is specifically designed to accommodate underfloor heating systems by providing optimal support for the required pipe diameter and spacing to achieve efficient thermal output. Its high compressive strength ensures durability during installation and long-term resilience under residential and commercial load conditions.
The MW-XPS400-16-10 model is engineered for use with 16mm pipes. The board measures 1200mm x 600mm x 20mmand is equipped with a 100-micron aluminum foil layer, enhancing its thermal efficiency and compatibility with heating systems. This robust design makes it a reliable choice for both domestic and professional applications.
Installation Guide
It's important to note that this document cannot cover every conceivable scenario. Subfloor preparation should be conducted to render it compatible with these boards, either for the application of a flexible cementitious tile adhesive before tiling, or to ensure it is sufficiently level to accommodate the installation of panels before laying a floating floor, such as engineered wood or laminate boards.
Available Timber Substrates include:
- For a floating floor installation, it is imperative to verify that the floor is both level and devoid of any movement before proceeding with panel installation.
- In situations involving existing floors, it may be necessary to overlay them with an appropriate thickness of cement boards. These overlays should be securely fastened
with screws at 150mm intervals.
Available Solid Substrates include:
- For optimal results, ensure that you are working with fully cured concrete, which should be aged for a minimum of six weeks and thoroughly dried.
- Solid screeds must have undergone complete curing, aligning with the thickness guidelines specified by the manufacturer.
- In the case of floating floor installations, it's imperative for these surfaces to be level. If they aren't, the application of an appropriate self-leveling
- compound is necessary before placing the panels on top.
- For installations involving tiles or leveling compound, it is essential to adequately prime the subfloor. If you encounter substrates such as power- floated concrete, calcium sulfate screeds, or any available materials not mentioned above.
